Terms & Conditions
Last updated 12 October 2026
Who You Are Dealing With
These terms are between you and The Trustee for The Nassar Trust trading as Intern Gateway (ABN 21 724 926 764) of 273 Main North Road, Enfield SA 5085 (“Intern Gateway”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at info@interngateway.com.
Agreement to These Terms
By enrolling in an internship placement with Intern Gateway, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please contact us before enrolling. Before host matching begins you will also be asked to electronically sign a short services agreement that sets out these terms, your program, fee and payment plan.
Our Service
Intern Gateway arranges 12-week unpaid vocational internship placements with host businesses across Australia, in-company or virtual, across Business, Marketing, IT, HR, Finance & Accounting and Engineering. Our service includes host matching, resume and interview preparation, dedicated coordinator support throughout your placement, and a Certificate of Completion issued by Intern Gateway on successful completion.
Payment
Fees may be paid in full at the time of enrolment, or split into 6 instalments (the first at enrolment, then one every 2 weeks) charged automatically to the card you provide. There are no ongoing or recurring fees beyond the placement fee shown at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; Intern Gateway does not store your card details. Host matching begins once your first payment has been received and your profile (screening form, current CV and any documents requested) is complete.
Cooling-Off Period
You may cancel for a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, provided host outreach on your behalf has not yet begun.
Placement Guarantee
If we have not secured a placement offer for you within 8 weeks of your profile being complete, you may choose to continue the search at no extra cost or request a full refund of the fees you have paid.
Once Your Placement Has Started
Fees become non-refundable once your placement has commenced, as the matching and placement service has been delivered in full.
Withdrawing After a Host Is Secured
If you need to withdraw after a host has been secured but before your placement starts, this is handled case by case — please contact us at info@interngateway.com as soon as possible. Nothing in these terms limits any refund you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your Obligations
To allow us to place you, you agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information, and tell us promptly if anything changes;
- supply your current CV, and where requested a copy of your passport and visa or other evidence of your right to undertake a placement in Australia;
- attend interviews and your placement reliably, punctually and professionally, and notify your host and Intern Gateway of any absence;
- follow your host’s reasonable directions and policies, including work health and safety, confidentiality and conduct requirements;
- sign the placement agreement with your host before the placement starts; and
- raise any concern about your placement with Intern Gateway promptly so it can be resolved.
Nature of the Placement
Placements arranged through Intern Gateway are unpaid vocational placements, not paid employment. Intern Gateway does not guarantee paid employment, a visa outcome, or a placement with any particular organisation. The Certificate of Completion is issued by Intern Gateway and is not a nationally recognised qualification.
Intellectual Property
Our website and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by us, our licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intern Gateway and its directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from a placement. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you enrol is the version that applies to you.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia.
